Caring for your Clark & Gray 308 Coat

Every Clark&Gray garment is made to last—crafted from premium 100% British Millerain dry wax cotton that offers durability and timeless style. With the right care, your piece can accompany you for years, reducing the need for replacements and minimising environmental impact.

How to Care for Your Garment

Wash Gently

Use a 30°C gentle cycle with soap flakes or non-biological detergent. This protects both the fibres and the wax finish, ensuring water resistance and longevity.

Dry Thoughtfully

Tumble dry on low heat or air dry naturally. Never fold or store while wet—always allow your garment to dry completely to avoid mildew and maintain fabric integrity.

Iron with Care

If needed, iron on a cool setting only.

Avoid Harsh Treatments

No bleach. No dry cleaning. Harsh chemicals damage the cotton and strip away protective finishes, reducing the lifespan of your garment.

Why This Matters

By caring for your garment correctly: You extend its life, reducing textile waste. You preserve the natural performance of the fabric, avoiding unnecessary reproofing or replacements. You minimize water and energy use, supporting a slower, more mindful fashion cycle.

At Clark&Gray, we believe in creating pieces that stay with you for seasons—quality that lasts is the most sustainable choice you can make.
